Science and Spirit

This series explores the space between the spiritual and the scientific, where ancient systems of belief meet contemporary understandings of life and matter. Auras, chakras and the cosmic egg exist alongside atoms, cells, microorganisms and scientific diagrams, creating a visual language that moves between the mystical and the empirical.

The paintings consider life as a process of transformation and development, from the microscopic formation of cells to the vastness of the cosmos. Symbols associated with nuclear science, atomic structures and biological diagrams are layered with esoteric imagery, suggesting that seemingly opposing systems may be searching for the same fundamental questions: Where does life begin? What connects us to the universe? And what unseen forces shape our existence?
