COSMIC EGG
This series explores the Cosmic Egg as a symbol of origin, creation, and the potential for new life. The paintings move between what is above and below, within and beyond, contemplating the universe not only as an external expanse, but as something contained within us. Through the relationship between the microcosmic and macrocosmic, the work considers the physical and metaphysical dimensions of existence, matter, energy, consciousness, and the unseen forces that connect them. Earth becomes a living consciousness within the greater cosmos, while microscopic forms echo galaxies, cells, seeds, and celestial bodies.
The figures nurturing and sheltering new life embody the fragile moment of creation and becoming. Together, the paintings reflect on the origins of life, the mystery of consciousness, and the possibility that the universe itself is an ever-expanding process of birth, transformation, and renewal.
