GLIMPSES OF LIFE
This series reflects on my first arrival in Australia and the experience of encountering a culture, lifestyle, and social landscape profoundly different from the Europe I had known. It captures the sense of discovery that came with entering a new world—one shaped by different rhythms, attitudes, landscapes, and ways of living.
For the first time, I experienced life within a metropolitan and multicultural city, surrounded by people from many different backgrounds and cultures. This diversity became an important part of my daily experience, opening new perspectives on identity, relationships, and the ways people inhabit a shared space.
The paintings translate these everyday encounters into a visual language shaped by love, passion, movement, and curiosity. Rather than documenting specific moments, the work transforms fragments of daily life into emotional impressions—an artistic record of discovering a new country, falling in love with its possibilities, and gradually finding my own place within it.
