BIRDS

This series imagines birds as pilgrims, travelling within a vessel along sacred trails toward an unseen light. Their journey becomes a metaphor for the eternal search: the movement of the seeker through the unknown in pursuit of something that lies beyond the visible world. The birds embody both the seeker and the guardian: one searching for answers, the other protecting and guiding the passage. Together, they navigate a universe filled with signs, mysteries, and hidden forces, moving through spaces that exist between the physical and the spiritual.

The vessel becomes a symbol of transformation and passage, carrying these figures through an alchemical universe where matter, spirit, time, and consciousness intersect. The sacred trails suggest paths that cannot always be seen but must be sensed, followed, and discovered. At the heart of the series is the question of what lies behind the sacred, what exists beyond ritual, symbol, and belief. The paintings become an invitation to enter that unknown space, where the journey itself becomes a form of revelation.
